Lil Chuckee

Rashad Ballard, better known as Lil Chuckee, is a teenage rapper from New Orleans. He currently lives in Atlanta because of the Katrina disaster though he did not let this stop his ambition to become a rapper. Chuckee is a hard-worker much like his boss Lil Wayne, as he has released 5 mixtapes already at the age of 16. Weezydiscovered Lil Chuckee‘s talent whilst he was at a video shoot and stated that he loved the fact that Chuckee‘s parents supported his rapping so much.
Lil Chuckee also appeared on 2 tracks off the Gold certified We Are Young Moneycompilation album, one of which was released as a single with a music video. This was called “Girl I Got You” and was Chuckee‘s first time in the mainstream media. It is perhaps his desire to be a rapper that has got him this publicity and judging by the famous Young Mula work ethic that he has, it wont be his last.

Jae Millz

Jae Millz, who grew up in Washington Heights and Harlem in New York City, was signed to Young Money in 2008. Shouting his signature phrase “LEGGGOOO” throughout most tracks, Millzy arguably became the most active underground artist inYM and he has shown his presence constantly through mixtapes. This is perhaps best highlighted in 2010 where he was dropping mixtape after mixtape for his fans to download for free.
To date, Jae has dropped over 15 mixtapes which shows the notorious work ethic allYoung Mula members are known for. Millz is currently working on his debut album entitled Nothing Is Promised slated for late 2012 release.

Gudda Gudda

Gudda Gudda, whose real name is Carl Lilly, is a rapper who grew up in the same neighborhood as Lil Wayne and was also encouraged by Weezy to start rapping. To date, Gudda has released two solo mixtapes in his Guddaville series and he played a part in the Sqad Up series between 2002 and 2003.
Double G also appeared on the Gold certified We Are Young Money compilation album playing a major part appearing on no less than 10 tracks. Gudda still has a strong underground presence as he often assists other artists by lending them a verse for their mixtapes. He is currently working on the third mixtape in his Guddaville series, which should be released later this year.

Flow

Widner DeGruy, better known by his stage name Flow or his nickname Esho Hero, is one of the latest artists to be signed to Young Money. Hailing from East New Orleans, Flow is already well-known in his hometown for the music he has recorded with his group The Flamez aka Flame Gang Muzik, with who he has released 3 mixtapes. Flow released his first solo mixtape entitled Heroic Volume 1 in 2009 and is now working on Volume 2, which will be released later this year.
Flow received global recognition after he got a call from Lil Wayne and was asked to appear on his Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape. He can be heard on the track “Inkredible“. The Esho Hero‘s journey to fame and fortune has just begun as he is now recognized outside of New Orleans. With Flow‘s unique talent mixed with the influence of Young Mula, he will be sure to fulfill his dream of becoming a successful rapper.

Drake

Aubrey Drake Graham, better known by his stage name Drake, is arguably one of the most talented rappers in the game right now. Born on October 24th, 1986 in Toronto, Canada, Drake has made a name for himself in more fields than just music. He started his career as an actor starring in the hit show “Degrassi: The Next Generation“.
Upon leaving the show, Drizzy went on to pursue his dream of being a rapper. His efforts were paid off when he received a phone call from Lil Wayne whilst he was having his haircut. Since signing to Young Money Entertainment in 2009, Drakehas established himself as a key member in the music industry by releasing an EP, various mixtapes, plenty of features and two albums.

Cory Gunz

The vicious flow of Cory Gunz caught the eye of Lil Wayne which in turn led to him being signed to Young Money in late 2010. Peter Cory Pankey Jr., who was raised in the Bronx, New York, is the son of old school rapper Peter GunzCory first appeared on the original version of the Weezy‘s “A Milli” track and then went on to appear on another one of Wayne‘s hits – “6 Foot, 7 Foot“. This shows that Lil Waynehas faith in the Gunna by allowing him to appear on such ambitious tracks.
Cory Gunz is no stranger to the public as he has also had his own TV show on MTV with Nick Cannon called “Son Of A Gun“, which consisted of six 20-minute episodes.Gunz is currently working on his debut album that will be sure to catch the eyes of critics if it follows in the footsteps of his mixtapes.

Christina Milian

Signing to Young Money in 2012, Christina Milian brings a sweet R&B voice to the label. Already a well established name in the industry, Christina has released 3 commercially successful albums from which one received a GRAMMY nomination. Apart from this, she has received a lot of positive feedback regarding the fact that she writes the majority of her own material. Christina has shown that music is not her only talent as she also has a significant amount of acting history appearing in hit shows such as CSI and Smallville for guest appearances, as well as roles in movies such asAmerican Pie.
Christina Milian is currently working on her fourth studio album, which she plans to release under her new label, Young Money EntertainmentMilian‘s boss, Lil Wayne, has shown his faith in her ability because upon hearing the first two tracks off her upcoming untitled album, he was immediately ready to sign her to Young Mula.

Lil Wayne

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., who you will know better as Lil Wayne, is the founder ofYoung Money Entertainment. Initially, he was a part of the hip-hop group Hot Boys, who he released three albums with. After the members of the group went their own separate ways, Weezy released his own solo album, Tha Block Is Hot, on Cash Money Records which went Platinum and since then, Tunechi has not stopped – only aiming higher. Lil Wayne‘s own struggle from nothing to everything shows that he has the expertise to guide others through the same path and, as he has made no secret, to make him more money.
Having released nine solo studio albums to date, Wayne has enough knowledge about the industry to be able to lead the Young Money army to the top of the charts.Weezy has shown that he has a eye for talent as he has spotted diamonds in the rough who have then shot up to fame and fortune thanks to his guidance. This includes the likes of Drake and Nicki MinajTune also has a different approach to signing talent because he handpicks artists that he likes personally rather than who he thinks the mass public will like. Additionally, Lil Wayne is famous for having a laid back approach to his artists as he allows them full creative control over their material.

Tyga

Michael Stevenson, better known by his stage name Tyga, is a rapper from the West Coast who signed to Young Money Ent in 2007. Tyga met Lil Wayne through his close-friend at the time, Travis McCoy, who you may know from Gym Class Heroes.Tygaman released his debut album in 2008 called No Introduction, which was followed by various mixtapes during his time at Young Mula that have all been received well, thus reflecting the name of one of his tapes – Well Done.
Tyga has established himself in the mainstream market with hits such as “Far Away” and “Rack City“, which helped his debut album on Young MoneyCareless World: Rise of the Last King, debut in the top 5 of Billboard’s album chart. T-Raw is currently promoting his album on his own headlining tour that he plans to take overseas in the summer.

T-streets

Carl Watts, better known by his stage name T-Streets, is a rapper from New Orleans. Though Streets did not dream about being a rapper when he was young, after meeting Lil Wayne he fell in love with rap and made up one seventh of the Sqad Upcrew, flooding the mixtape game in 2002 and 2003. Streets is now one of the few original members of Young Money left as he is also a close friend of Weezy, who regards him more of a brother than his artist.
Appearing on the Gold certified We Are Young Money compilation album followed by his solo The Streets Is Watching mixtapeT-Streets shows his ability to rap. He’s most recent notable appearance was his verse on Lil Wayne’s “Hold Up” track, which appeared on the I Am Not A Human Being album.
